Episode 42: The Predator & Mandy

Hemant ended up recording this episode a day late since he spent Monday night practicing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on his guitar. He still got the episode out on schedule, but he does take a moment to explain what this was all about.

He then gives some brief thoughts on the recent news of a John Clark series of films starring Michael B. Jordan, season 2 of American Vandal, and the first couple episodes of the new Netflix series Maniac from director Cary Joji Fukunaga.

It’s then time to dive into this week’s reviews of Shane Black’s latest film The Predator, and a bonkers film from Panos Cosmatos, Mandy.

Episode 40: Hereditary & Den of Thieves

It’s hard to believe just how much stuff one can watch when they are at home sick for two days during the week. In episode 40 Hemant talks a bit about the first episode of the new Amazon Prime series The Purge, Season 1 of the Netflix Original series American Vandal, as well as Season 1 of The Sinner.

He also gives some brief thoughts on a first time watch of the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice, as well as re-watches of School of Rock, and Need for Speed.

It’s then time for in-depth reviews of the horror film Hereditary which was just released on Bluray, as well as the gritty crime drama Den of Thieves.
