Episode 48 marks the beginning of Hemant’s exploration of films by Stanley Kubrick. Over the next several weeks he will be watching various films from this iconic director’s filmography.
In this inaugural episode he visits 2001: A Space Odyssey from 1968. He’s not proud of it, but this is the first time Hemant has watched this film. He gives his thoughts on this space opera, while also taking some time to talk about a few of the more popular theories that try to make heads or tails of this movie.
Hemant also briefly talks about season 3 of the TV series Mr. Robot and why he has a love/hate relationship with this series.
